French Connection is a men’s and women’s fashion retail chain in Australia. Comprising of both free-standing and concession stores, French Connection is an innovative and high energy retailer, selling the latest trends.

French Connection for us dates back to early 2006 when we were invited to facilitate training to Area and State Managers as part of their national conference. Since then, we have developed a close partnership with the team at French Connection. Some of our work includes:

Working with State and Area Managers in company-combined workshops, we facilitated a series of 1-day leadership programs on the following topics:

French Connection Sales Program

French Connection UK had a sales program that was right for the UK market but needed redefining for Australia. French Connection Australia also did not want old school selling steps or anything so rigid that it would contradict the brand essence or offend retail teams/customers.

So, Performance Partners worked closely with French Connection retail to develop a program that was innovative, store-friendly and improved a variety of retail metrics. This program focused on the primary customer decision points across the store and linked with the success profiles of great salespeople at French Connection Australia. This program was then rolled out to all State and Area Managers, who in turn rolled the program out to stores.
